Who we are

Decize is operated by the Decize team (“we,” “us”). “Decize” means the Decize app and website.

What Decize is (and isn’t)

Decize is a tool for journaling and thinking through your decisions, with optional AI-assisted analysis. It is not professional advice. Nothing in Decize — including AI-generated analysis — is legal, financial, medical, or mental-health advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Your decisions are your own.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) and able to form a binding agreement to use Decize.

Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, email us at support@decize.app.

Free during beta

Decize is currently free while in beta. There is no paid plan today and no billing. If we introduce paid features in the future, we’ll tell you in advance and you’ll be able to choose whether to use them — we won’t start charging you for something you’re already using without notice.

Your content

You own what you put into Decize. You keep all rights to your decisions, reflections, and attachments. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the service for you — including sending the limited content described in our Privacy Policyto AI providers when you request analysis. We don’t claim ownership of your content, and we won’t use it to advertise to you.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• break the law, or use Decize to harm others;
• upload content you don’t have the right to, or others’ personal data unlawfully;
• try to access other users’ data;
• attack, overload, probe, or disrupt the service;
• reverse-engineer or scrape it, except where the law expressly allows.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that do these things.

AI output

AI analysis is generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or biased. Treat it as a prompt for your own thinking, not a verdict. You’re responsible for the decisions you make.

Beta and availability

Decize is in active development and provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, break, or be removed, and we don’t guarantee uptime. We may modify or discontinue the service; if we plan to shut it down, we’ll try to give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Decize is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be error-free or that AI analysis will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Decize and its operators won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make using the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which, during the free beta, is zero.

Termination

You can stop using Decize at any time and delete your content, or email support@decize.app to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll revise the date above and, for significant changes, give notice in the app. Continuing to use Decize after a change means you accept the updated terms.
