How the meter works
One lever, and it is the honest one.
The meter counts one thing: how many decisions your organization records, never how many people. That is also the number that tracks what you are getting out of it.

What counts as one decision
One record in the ledger. Not a message, not a meeting, not a person — the thing you decided. A thread with fifteen replies that lands on one call is one decision. A message that decided nothing is not a decision at all, and Decize drops it before it reaches the ledger.

The window is a calendar month
The allowance refills on the first, and unused decisions do not roll over. No record expires and none is purged — your ledger is kept on every plan, including Free. The count is how many new decisions you opened this month, not how many you are holding. Imported history never counts, and a decision deleted within a day of being captured is given back.

Going over never loses a decision
When a month's decisions are used up, Decize keeps recording — nothing is bounced or refused. What pauses is the follow-up: reminders and outcome requests for captures over the allowance wait until you move up a plan. Your ledger stays complete and readable on every plan, including Free.

Every plan is unlimited people. Add the whole company, add contributors who capture by email without an account, add a board member who reads once a quarter. Not one of them changes the price.

- What is the founding offer?
- Create a workspace by Dec 31, 2026 and you get Business — 200 decisions a month, digests and forecast calibration, with unlimited people — free for your first three months. There is no card to enter, nothing to cancel and nothing that renews on you: when the three months are up the workspace simply returns to Free and its 10 decisions a month unless you choose a plan. The prices below are what you would pay then; the offer does not change them.
- Why not charge per seat like everyone else?
- Because a decision record is only worth anything if everyone who makes a decision writes it down, and per-seat pricing gives you a reason not to invite people. For reference, the published prices below put Notion Plus at $360 and Confluence Standard at $201 for thirty people on monthly billing, before taxes. We would rather charge for the value and let you invite everyone.
- Is ten a month actually enough to be useful?
- For one team, often yes — most teams make far fewer decisions worth recording than they think, and ten a month is a real working allowance rather than a teaser. From the first decision you get the record, the follow-up and a plain count of how decisions went. Rates and what works wait until the team has recorded 50 outcomes, because below that they are noise; forecast calibration (on Business) also needs 5 of them on decisions whose confidence a person confirmed. At ten a month that takes a while; importing past decisions with their outcomes gets you there sooner.
- What happens to my decisions if I stop paying?
- They stay yours and they stay readable. You drop to Free and the ledger stays intact, and on every plan, Free included, owners and managers can download the whole ledger as CSV, and as PDF 150 decisions at a time, whenever they like. We are not going to hold your decision history hostage.
- Do you offer annual billing?
- Not yet. Every paid plan is billed monthly through Dodo Payments, and you can cancel any time from your workspace settings. If an annual cycle matters for your budget, tell us.
- Are these prices final?
- Yes. $99 a month for Team and $249 for Business, and those are the numbers whenever you start paying. The founding offer is not a starter rate that quietly expires into a higher price — it is three months free, after which you either choose one of these prices or stay on Free. We will tell you before any later change.
Worth saying plainly: we have no paying customers yet, no SOC 2 and no penetration test. If you are evaluating this for a regulated environment, read what we do and do not do before you go further.
