Pricing

You pay for decisions.
Never for people.

Ten decisions a month, free forever. Above that, one flat price for the whole organization — no seat count, no per-person maths, no reason to leave anyone out of the record.

Everything is free while we are in beta. Billing is not switched on yet — there is no card field anywhere in the product. These are the prices for when it is, published now so you can decide with your eyes open.

How the meter works

One lever, and it is the honest one.

The only thing that changes your price is how many decisions your organization records. That is also the only number that tracks what you are getting out of it.

What counts as one decision

One record in the ledger. Not a message, not a meeting, not a person — the thing you decided. A thread with fifteen replies that lands on one call is one decision. A message that decided nothing is not a decision at all, and Decize drops it before it reaches the ledger.

The window is a calendar month

The allowance refills on the first. Nothing expires and nothing is deleted — your ledger is permanent on every plan, including Free. The count is how many new decisions you opened this month, not how many you are holding.

Going over never blocks capture

This is the part most metered products get wrong. If you hit your allowance, Decize keeps recording — it does not bounce your mail, refuse the capture box or hide the record. We tell you, and you move up when it suits you. A tool that punishes you for writing decisions down would defeat its own purpose.

People are free, always

Every plan is unlimited people. Add the whole company, add contributors who capture by email without an account, add a board member who reads once a quarter. Not one of them changes the price.

What this costs against the alternative

Thirty people, one month.

The tools a decision record competes with are priced per person, so their bill grows every time you invite someone. Ours does not move.

Priced perTypical rate30 people
Team wiki / knowledge base$6–$13 per person$180–$390
Meeting and decision add-ins$8–$29 per person$240–$870
General workspace suites$10–$20 per person$300–$600
Decize Teamthe organization$99

Published list prices for comparable tools as of September 2026, converted to a thirty-person team. They are not Decize competitors feature-for-feature — none of them keeps a locked decision frame or scores a forecast — but they are what the budget usually goes to instead.

Straight answers

The questions we would ask.

Why not charge per seat like everyone else?
Because a decision record is only worth anything if everyone who makes a decision writes it down, and per-seat pricing gives you a reason not to invite people. Every comparable tool charges $5–$20 per person per month. On thirty people that is $150–$600 before anyone has recorded a thing. We would rather charge for the value and let you invite everyone.
Is ten a month actually enough to be useful?
For one team, often yes — most teams make far fewer decisions worth recording than they think, and ten a month is a real working allowance rather than a teaser. It is also roughly where the product starts paying you back: several of the aggregate numbers stay blank below five data points, and forecast calibration needs five resolved forecasts before it says anything.
What happens to my decisions if I stop paying?
They stay yours and they stay readable. You drop to Free, the ledger stays intact, and you can export the whole thing as CSV at any time on a paid plan. We are not going to hold your decision history hostage.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes — two months free if you pay for a year, when billing turns on. If you are an early workspace, talk to us before you pay for anything: we would rather have your feedback than your money right now.
Are these prices final?
They are what we intend to charge. We have not taken a payment yet, so if you become an early customer we will honour the price you signed up at, and we will tell you before anything changes.

Worth saying plainly: we have no paying customers yet, no SOC 2 and no penetration test. If you are evaluating this for a regulated environment, read what we do and do not do before you go further.

Ten decisions is enough to find out.

No card, no trial clock, no call. Create a workspace, forward one email into it, and see what the record looks like when it is actually written down.
